Mercedes Ervin is a strategic Executive Assistant and Executive Program Administrator with over a decade of experience supporting leadership, managing cross-functional initiatives, and overseeing complex programs within municipal government, ministry, and community-based environments.

Raised in Oakland, California, Mercedes’ foundation is rooted in faith, service, and disciplined leadership. The values instilled in her early life—integrity, stewardship, accountability, and purpose-driven work—continue to shape her professional approach. She brings a mission-oriented mindset to every organization she serves, aligning operational execution with leadership vision.

Mercedes holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has more than 10 years of experience in project, program, event, and facility management with the City of Oakland’s Parks & Recreation Department. In this capacity, she has coordinated large-scale public programs, managed vendor and stakeholder relationships, supported executive leadership, and overseen high-visibility community initiatives.
